John has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of finance and management leadership at a variety of large- and middle-market manufacturing companies.
At IOP, John has served as chairman of Algoma, E.B. Bradley, Edelbrock and AAA, and as a board member of Toledo Mold & Die and El Dorado Packaging.
Prior to joining IOP, John co-led the turnaround and eventual sale of Davis Industries, a manufacturer of automotive stampings and assemblies. The turnaround culminated in a highly successful sale of the company to Tesma International, a division of Magna International. He remained with Tesma through 2004 to assist with the transition and provide senior-level assistance to Magna Drive Train of America, a manufacturer of transmissions, managing key projects within that group.
Previously, John served as CFO of Cambridge Industries, a multi-plant automotive and commercial vehicle component supplier. After beginning his career at Touche Ross & Co., he served for a number of years as corporate controller at middle-market manufacturing companies, including Ferro Manufacturing, American Technologies and Freedom Forge Corporation, and later as vice president of finance and controller of Butler Metals Company (which became part of Oxford Group).
