Evanston, Ill., July 22, 2020 – Industrial Opportunity Partners (“IOP”), an operations-focused private equity firm based in Evanston, Ill., today announced that its existing portfolio company SRR Holdings, Inc., dba Royston Group (“Royston Group”), has acquired the assets of Southern CaseArts (“SCA” or the “Company”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SCA is a designer and manufacturer of innovative merchandising cases for the grocery and convenience store industries. The Company offers a wide variety of custom products including refrigerated and heated display cases, refrigerated island merchandisers, dry produce merchandisers, self-service cases, and combination cases. SCA’s President and Founder Gene Cary will join Royston Group as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.
The addition of SCA by Royston Group brings together two industry leaders in outfitting retail environments, and further strengthens Royston Group’s status as a strategic partner for convenience, mass merchant, and grocery retailers. Royston Group provides retail clients looking to create inviting, exciting environments with an exceptional end-to-end solution for retail fixtures, merchandisers, signage and program management, installation, and maintenance services.
