Mr. Vedra is a Managing Director and Founding Principal of IOP. He currently serves on the Board of Center Manufacturing, Inc. and FAS Controls Holdings Inc. Mr. Vedra has transaction experience as both a principal investor and commercial lender. He has experience in carving-out corporate divestitures, acquiring family-owned businesses, and acquiring bankrupt companies.
Prior to founding IOP, he was a Managing Director of Wynnchurch Capital, a Chicago, IL based private equity firm focused on investing in middle-market companies. Prior to joining Wynnchurch, Mr. Vedra worked in the Merchant Banking group of GE Capital specializing in sourcing, structuring and underwriting senior debt placements for middle-market companies. Prior to completing his MBA degree, he worked at LaSalle Partners Limited and Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Vedra graduated from the University of Michigan with an MBA degree with High Distinction and from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA degree with Honors.
