Mr. Vedra is a Managing Director and Founding Principal of IOP.
Mr. Vedra has 15 years of domestic and international transaction experience, including the carve-out of corporate orphans, recapitalization of family-owned businesses, and acquisition of bankrupt companies. At IOP, Mr. Vedra co-manages the operations of the fund, in addition to sourcing and executing transactions and managing portfolio investments. He currently serves on the Board of Center Manufacturing, Inc., FAS Controls Holdings Inc., Gulf Coast Machine & Supply Company, EB Bradley Holdings LLC and Edelbrock LLC.
Prior to founding IOP, Mr. Vedra was a Managing Director of a Chicago, IL based private equity firm focused on investing in middle-market companies. He previously worked within the Merchant Banking group of GE Capital, where he specialized in sourcing, structuring and underwriting senior debt placements for middle-market companies. Prior to completing his MBA degree, he worked at LaSalle Partners Limited and Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Vedra graduated from the University of Michigan with an MBA degree with High Distinction and from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA degree with Honors.
