Mr. Oleshansky is a Vice President of IOP.
Mr. Oleshansky has eleven years of experience as a private equity investor and investment banker. At IOP, he is responsible for deal sourcing and execution, as well as managing portfolio investments. He currently serves as an observer to the Board of Directors of Algoma Holding Company, FAS Controls Holdings Inc., EB Bradley Holdings LLC and Edelbrock LLC.
Prior to joining IOP, Mr. Oleshansky was a member of the investment team of Equity Group Investments, LLC, the private investment firm owned and led by financier Samuel Zell, focusing on opportunistic private equity and distressed debt investments across a broad spectrum of industries. Previously, he worked as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Merrill Lynch & Co. specializing in mid- and large-cap industrial companies. Mr. Oleshansky earned his MBA degree from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with High Honors, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in Business Administration from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). He currently serves on the Miami University Farmer School of Business Finance Advisory Board.
