Mr. Hart is the Director of Business Development for IOP.
Mr. Hart has 18 years of experience in equity investing, leveraged lending and corporate finance with the General Electric Company. Mr. Hart recently managed a portfolio of top GE Capital clients, providing various corporate lending products, as well as direct access to GE’s world-class industrial operating practices.
While at GE Capital, Mr. Hart sourced and executed debt and equity investments ranging from corporate restructurings and leveraged buy-outs to growth capital and special situations. Investments ranged from $5 million to $500 million and included international transactions. Mr. Hart’s investment portfolio management experience includes restructuring non-performing loans and serving as a Board representative to companies in GE’s private equity portfolio. Mr. Hart served as a representative of GE Capital Markets, Inc where he held both Series 7 and Series 63 registrations. He began his career with GE Lighting in the GE Financial Management Program. Mr. Hart has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He also completed officer training in the United States Marine Corps.
